With over 40 years experience in the club Entertainment Industry Johnny Veen is one of Australia's most respected compere-Vocalist and Entertainment consultants in the business today.
Before moving to the Gold Coast 26 years ago, he worked the Sydney Club circuit and through-out Australia as a solo Cabaret performer for over 18 years.
Johnny was acclaimed for many years by his peers and audience as one of the most popular vocalists in Australia. Whilst in Sydney he regularly appeared on most National TV shows and recorded for RCA records. (One of his hits "You know he did" stayed in the top 10 for several weeks.)
Johnny has worked with many International Performers over the years - Wayne Newton - Al Martino (2 weeks South Sydney Juniors) - Katherine Grayson (2 weeks Adelaide)
- Winifred Atwell (all over Australia)
- plus many others.
Since moving to the Gold Coast Johnny spent 12 years as Compere
Vocalist at the Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Club and then for the past 15 years as Compere/Entertainment Manager at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club.
His wife Judy has also been in the industry for more than 30 years and together they run one of the largest Theatrical Agencies & Entertainment Consultancies in Queensland.
